How do I care for my JB pieces?

Follow these simple steps to keep your jewels looking their best.

Limit exposure to water, perfume, sunscreen, lotion and hairstyling products.
Remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing or showering.
Store pieces separately, and hang necklaces to keep them from tangling.
Wipe clean with a soft cloth, and do not use conventional fine jewelry cleaner.

How do I clean it?

You may wipe the pieces clean with a soft cloth, but never use conventional or fine jewelry cleaner on our pieces.

What's the best way to store my jewelry?

We recommend storing your pieces separately. Try hanging your necklaces and keeping your rings and bracelets in a covered spot, like a lidded jewelry box.

Do your pieces tarnish?

We purposefully craft each piece in the highest quality materials. However, if your jewelry is overly exposed to water or the products above, some tarnishing may occur. Additionally, your own pH may impact the life cycle of your jewelry.

What is your jewelry made of?

JENNY BIRD jewelry is primarily made using a base of brass or stainless steel. The materials are then plated or dipped in gold tone, gold, rhodium or silver. The majority of our jewelry is available in either a high polish gold or high-polish silver finish.
