It is more important than ever to spread love to our fellow brothers and sisters around the world; to those who need it most. Every year, we try to do as much as we can to support our fellow global citizens.
Our most recent philanthropic endeavour is Jenny’s collaboration with Far and Wide, a support system for craftsmen and women in developing countries, who do not have access to the market know-how it takes to grow a successful company. Jenny will be helping artisans directly in post-conflict and developing countries to design their merchandise in a way that will be more desirable in a western market.
REFUGEE CRISIS APPEAL
Funds raised gave immediate first aid attention, provided food and water, offered emotional support, and reconnected refugees separated from family members during their escape from Syria. The Canadian Government matched every dollar we raised.
FOR THE VICTIMS OF TYPHOON HAIYAN
One year later, after the devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, they are still rebuilding. Funds raised went directly to relief on the ground.
In partnership with Holt Renfrew, we designed the Guardian Tusk Collection; from which 10% of the proceeds were donated to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Canada’s largest international conservation organization.
We joined forces with Burt’s Bees to create a limited-edition ‘for the bees’ friendship bracelet that would help raise awareness and funds for at-risk bees. 100% of the profits from the bracelets went to the Pollinator Partnership, a not-for-profit organization that aims to protect and restore populations of pollinator species.
