A NOTE FROM JENNY

When I came up with the concept, I was pregnant. I was and still am seeking to slow down from the frenetic pace of life.

I decided to use my hands for that slow and satisfying analog experience that I was craving. Pregnancy was also demanding a complete release of control and trust in the universe. So the qualities of water resonated with me, to going with the flow, to an absence of resistance. Being divinely connected, my intuition was at an all time high and it was immediately clear what jewelry the world needed next. Hard edges and geometric shapes no longer spoke to me. We would want to feel nurtured by our jewelry, with thoughtful designs in natural forms.

I began by sculpting fluid forms with my son’s Play-Doh and then moved to jewelry clay. My Design Director, Laetitia joined in. We casted the resulting clay shapes in brass and then chose our favourite castings to design pieces around. The natural forms represent the beauty of slow creation and the wisdom in knowing things are happening for you and not to you. It’s the peace that comes from trusting that you are right where you are meant to be.
